Super Troopers 2 is Finished!

“These snozzberries taste like snozzberries.”  If you were a teen in the early 2000s, then you know exactly what movie that line is from.

It’s been a long wait, for something that we weren’t even sure was going to officially happen, but fans of the 2002 cult comedy Super Troopers banded together and raised over $4 million to make it possible for Super Troopers 2 to go into production.

Wednesday we saw the news on Twitter that post-production has finished on the long-awaited sequel!

Broken Lizard, the production company who made the first Super Troopers and now the sequel, are just waiting to hear from Fox Searchlight Pictures on when the release date will be!

I’ll be sure to keep an eye out and update you all as soon as we find out the release date.  Right meow, I need to watch the original again!
