Ed Sheeran Explains Why He Left Twitter

Ed Sheeran caused quite a stir yesterday when he deleted his Twitter account, and a lot of fans feared it was because of the backlash on the social media site after his appearance in Sunday night’s Game of Thrones premiere.

As of today his Twitter page is back up, but Sheeran hasn’t really been tweeting recently.  If you follow him, you’ll have noticed that all of his “tweets” are just shares from his Instagram account.  Just a few hours ago he gave us this message on Instagram as to why he’s decided to leave Twitter:

Luckily, Sheeran seems to be happy to stay on Instagram, so we’ll still be able to follow him on his “Divide” Tour.
